how can i convert my macys card into the macys visa card, do i have to apply a different application, or can they convert this to a visa card without running another credit check.

Would I pay more interest using a credit card to buy a car if the interest rate is the same (or higher) as a car loan?
I have a high limit 9% interest credit card but I cannot qualify for a car loan.
